Today I am using KIOLBASSA'S Roasted Garlic Sausage in my version of Olive Garden's Zuppa Toscana Soup... yum!!

RECIPE
- 3 links KIOLBASSA's Roasted Garlic Sausage
- 4 medium russet baking potatoes, peeled, thinly sliced
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- 3 slices bacon (optional)
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3 cups kale or 2 cups swiss chard , chopped
- 4 (8 ounce) cans chicken broth
- 8 cups water
- 1/2 pint heavy whipping cream

- 5Cook on medium heat until potatoes are done.
- 6Stir occasionally.
- 7Salt and pepper to taste.
- 8Simmer for another 10 minutes.
- 9Turn to low heat.
- 10Add kale and cream.
- 11Heat through and serve.
This is not exactly a 'lowfat' recipe (17g), but all in all the calorie count is not bad at 201 calories per serving. I have included the nutrition chart below.
